Set against the mountain side, Buffalo Thorn cottage provides seclusion and privacy with vast views over the Buffelsfontein valley onto the impressive Magaliesberg mountain on the horizon. You will get to see the spectacular night skies while listening to the call of the jackals.
Buffalo Thorn offers self-catering accommodation for the family or friends, sleeping 2 - 6 guests in two bedrooms with a double and single bed in each room.
An open plan kitchen with fridge/freezer, stove/oven, dining area and lounge with fireplace. The bathroom boasts a large shower and bath, all with magnificent views. Large veranda in front and braai area at the back incorporated into the rocky hillside. Fully equipped for self-catering, all linen and medium-sized bath towels supplied. We sell firewood if you need more.
Cleaning service is available on request at an additional fee.
Children of all ages are welcome.
The cottage is off grid supplying solar power. Therefor only laptops and cell phones may be charged. No appliances such as hair driers, coffee grinders and big screen monitors may be used.
