Various routes from leisurely strolls to more strenuous hikes exploring the veld, forests, kloofs and mountains. Rest in hammocks supplied on route.
A birdwatchers paradise, due to the diverse micro ecological zones. We encourage visitors to contribute sightings of birds to our bird list.
There are many places to picnic, close to the cottage or on hikes in the kloofs and indigenous forests.
Pick your own vegetables to eat during your stay or to take home, check the availability on the Fresh Produce page.
A farm dam with a stunning view is the ideal place to cool off. The fountain running through the Kleinkloof also has a number of small pools.
Bring your bike along for some rides on the farm or surrounding area.
